Welcome to day #3 of Christmas Week, a multi-blogger event co-hosted by Kim of Cravings of a Lunatic and Jen of Juanita’s Cocina. Today’s theme for Christmas Week is “Christmas Cakes and Cupcakes”. Make sure you visit all the participating bloggers today to see what special dish they whipped up for you.
I made these cupcakes after seeing them at Apes Eats last year. I knew they would make my children happy and I was right. It also made the adults happy to see such festive cupcakes on a dessert table. This is not so much a recipe as it is a decorating tip on how to create very cute reindeer with a cupcake.
Ingredients:
1 box cake mix (yellow or chocolate)
1 can of frosting (chocolate)
mini pretzels (reindeer ears)
brown M&Ms (reindeer eyes)
red M&Ms (reindeer nose)
Directions:
Bake cupcakes according to the box directions. Allow them to cool to room temperature and frost as smoothly on top as you can. Decorate with pretzels and M&Ms for ears and nose. Enjoy.
