This is my second milkshake of the week. Well, you must be wondering why all these frozen treats in the middle of a Christmas themed event. We had a small wave of heat in our area and had 70+ degree days... so the cool treats with a fun Christmas theme worked out perfectly. Of course if you have freezing cold weather where you live, just snuggle up under a blanket and enjoy this frozen treat too. :)
Ingredients:
3 cups vanilla ice cream
1-2 tsp ground ginger powder (depending how strong you want the ginger flavor)
1/2-1 tsp ground cinnamon
2-3 gingersnap cookies (more for garnish)
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups milk (use less milk if you want it very thick)
1 Tbs molasses
Directions:
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth (use the lower range of ginger and cinnamon spices to start). Taste and adjust spices as needed. Serve in a glass with straw or a spoon. Garnish with more ginger snaps (whole or crumbled). Serves 2-3. Enjoy
